The Role

LABFRESH is in an exciting growth phase. We’re expanding our retail footprint, strengthening our online community, and building a brand that lives seamlessly between physical and digital.

This role sits right at that intersection.

This is not a traditional Assistant Store Manager role. It’s a hybrid position where you lead on the shop floor and help shape how our brand shows up online. The store always comes first, you lead from the front, drive performance and make sure every customer understands what makes LABFRESH different.

Retail doesn’t stop at the door. You move seamlessly between leading on the floor and being the voice of LABFRESH online, supporting customers through chat, email, social and returns.

We are looking for someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership naturally and enjoys building something, not just maintaining it.

What are you gonna do? 

Assistant Store Manager & Sales Development

You lead from the front and help shape how we sell.

  • Work closely with the Store Manager and Head of Retail to grow LABFRESH retail in the Netherlands
  • Take ownership of daily execution and decision-making on the floor
  • Step in as store lead when the Store Manager is not present
  • Drive store performance by reaching and exceeding monthly sales targets
  • Deliver exceptional, on-brand customer experiences
  • Build a strong sales culture through coaching and hands-on training
  • Contribute to developing LABFRESH’s sales training framework(Learning Lab), turning on-floor learnings into scalable tools and standards across stores
  • Act as a commercial sparring partner on staffing, planning and performance improvements

Online Customer Experience | Community & Brand Voice

Modern retail lives both offline and online and you’re comfortable in both worlds.

  • Be the friendly, knowledgeable voice of LABFRESH across online channels
  • Support customers via live chat, email, social media comments and returns — with clarity, attention to detail and good vibes
  • Turn questions and challenges into positive brand moments
  • Maintain a consistent and on-brand tone across platforms
  • Handle returns with care and efficiency
  • Help us to constantly improve from the inside out by sharing customers feedback and insights
  • Maintain high response quality and speed across all channels

Who are you

  • 2+ years of experience as a top performer in retail, ideally within apparel, lifestyle, or fast-growing DTC brand
  • Comfortable taking responsibility and leading by example in the shop floor
  • You are comfortable switching priorities quickly and staying effective on busy days as well as quieter moments 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, solution-oriented and hands-on
  • Highly organized and structured, able to juggle multiple responsibilities
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of brand and presentation
  • Strong communicator, both in person and online
  • Weekend work is expected 
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Customer Service: 30-40% depending on store traffic and seasonality
